Fingernails 2 Go reviews some of the catwalk trends from the A/W catwalk shows and shows you how to translate them to nails!

It feels like Summer is barely upon us but the catwalks are looking towards next seasons trends for Autumn/Winter 2014. As always the catwalks for Fashion Week were full of new and exciting ideas and new takes on trends of the past.

We have selected our top three trends for A/W and selected some of our Fingernails2go designs that will allow you to apply the trends to your nails!

Swinging 60s
Shift dresses and strong shapes have had a big presence on the catwalk for Autumn/Winter. Designers and brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Miu Miu had collections with a retro feel.

The classic shapes of the sixties have been brought forward to 2014 with current fabrics and textiles.

Glitz, Glam and O.T.T are words that should be in your vocabulary for Autumn/Winter 2014. Think intricate patterns and shiny sequins. Dolce and Gabbana, Alexander McQueen and Roksanda Ilincic all embraced the look and sent some truly stunning pieces down the catwalk.

Vivid Prints
Bright, bold and beautiful prints with a touch of Japanese street culture. Marc by Marc Jacob, Dries Van Noten and Kenzo all showcased eye catching patterns teamed with unusually shaped pieces. Some pieces looked like they would have been quite at home in the Tate Modern!

Although most of us won’t have a budget that can stretch to the catwalks of London, Paris and Milan, you can embrace up and coming trends with accessories such as bags, jewellery and…your nails! Small features can have a huge impact on an outfit and keep you updated with the latest looks.
